Guthi system is the identity of Our Newah Civilization that affects each an every Newah People from birth to death. It has preserved our temples, traditions and festivals. Moreover, It has united all Newah Community.
We are very serious concern about the presented bill because it has failed to address the core value of the Guthi System and the people who are taking care of it for many generations. The presented Guthi bill has attempted to destroy the centuries old Guthi system in Kathmandu Valley that has existed since Licchavi period.
Please come and join us to support the ongoing demonstration and protest against the Guthi Bill in Nepal.
